Furniture Removals

With over five years experience in the Furniture Removals industry, we've seen it all! And moved just about every piece of furniture you can think of. This page is dedicated to helping you with preparing your furniture for removals day. A few hints and tips to make your move a happy, safe and inexpensive one.

Dismantling Furniture

Furniture is much safer and easier to move when dismantled. To save time and money we recommend that you:

  • Dismantle bed frames.
  • Remove loose shelves.
  • Remove glass from cabinets and tables.

If you prefer to sit back and relax our removals team can take care of most of your furniture dismantling and reassembly needs. Our furniture removals teams are equipped with basic tools for this purpose.

Removals of Delicate Furniture

Our furniture removalists always take the utmost care when moving you. However, it’s good to notify our removals team of any fragile or antique furniture pieces at the beginning of your job.

Please use the opportunity to discuss with our movers the safest way to transport these items and to advise if you would like these furniture pieces bubble wrapped for extra protection. Our furniture removals team will of course take extra care with these treasures.

Furniture We Won't Move

In general our furniture removals team will move all furniture items excluding:

  • Items of a dangerous nature: by law we cannot move items that contain flammable liquids such as gas bottles.
  • Extremely heavy items: things like full size billiard tables or heavy safes should not be moved by furniture removals workers no matter how well trained. We recommend that you use specialist transport companies who are properly equipped for such moves.
